March brings in more powerful changes as fateful 2020 unfolds. Let the games begin! Mercury, the planet of communication, will be retrograde until March 9, 2020, turning direct on the day of a potentially confusing Full Moon in Virgo. Spring Equinox comes in on March 19, 2020, bringing in a chance for new beginnings. Mars in Capricorn lines up with Pluto and Saturn towards the end of the month, intensifying existing power struggles and contests. Suffice it to say, there’s a lot going on this month, so put plenty of effort into staying grounded and planning ahead.
Saturn and Pluto update! A lot has been said about this monumental planetary pairing, and much of it has made people anxious. Truth be told, when these planets get together karmic challenges abound. It’s a conjunction that happens once every 34 years, and when it does there are major political and economic shifts and problems. It is a time when old foundations will be challenged and even destroyed in some cases. New trends arise out of necessity, hardship, and loss. The distribution of wealth, power, and resources can be significantly altered. Since 2020 began with an exact conjunction of these two titanic forces, the stage is being set for major transformation this year, both personally and globally. Events that have been set in motion during the last couple of years are hitting their peak now and will have an impact for years to come. During these heavy times we are called upon to connect to our core principles and stand up for that which is for our higher good, and the good of all. Keep things in perspective. It may feel confusing and unpredictable during this week, so keep your wits about you. Many things that may have gotten messed up over the past few weeks can be solved now, and new projects will have a great chance of starting up without a hitch.
There’s a Full Moon at 19° Virgo on March 9, 2020 at 10:48 am PDT. This one is a doozy, with the Moon opposite the Pisces Sun and mysterious trickster Neptune. The Moon in Virgo symbolizes our inner need for order and the desire to fix and heal that which is broken. The Sun/Neptune opposition to this Full Moon makes it hard to gain clarity and separate fact from fiction. Since Pisces and Virgo are related to personal and public health, there will most likely be big developments regarding the Coronavirus on the days around this full moon. Venus will align with Uranus in Taurus, creating a great emotional and creative surge. And Mercury turning direct is going to put an unusual spin on the whole event. At times like these when planetary forces are strong and surly, connect to things that represent stability and the earth. Spend time in nature and do a little tree hugging if you are feeling a bit dazed. Affirmations and magic related to healing, intuition, and creativity will be potent during this moon cycle.
