January 2018 Femastrology

01 January Femastrology - Capricornby Astrologer and Psychic, Victoria Bearden

2018 is bringing in a whole new vibration. 2017 was full of drama, challenge, and unexpected change. The New Year will lend some stability, and a “reality check” to many things that may have seemed crazy in the previous year. The challenge will be to take proactive steps, once it is clear which areas of our lives need the most improvement. Be ready to adapt to new circumstances, and to create new pathways where necessary. This year we need to come together with others more than ever before. 2018 is an “11/2” in numerology, and will deliver valuable lessons about the true purpose of relationships of all kinds.

Outer planets shifting into Earth Signs will help all of us to get grounded and start making progress with goals and plans. This planetary influence will require us to be both practical and innovative at the same time. Take the important lessons you have learned during 2017 and start applying them ASAP. It’s a good time to make commitments to the things that represent security and lasting value. With Saturn in Capricorn, we can learn how to be real grown-ups, and take more authority in our own lives. With Uranus tiptoeing into Taurus, we can learn how to start building powerful new foundations.

There’s a Full Moon in Cancer on January 1, 2018 at 6:24 pm PST. This is a strong start to the New Year, and the themes of this Full Moon can tell us about the nature of the next 12 months. With the Sun, Venus, Saturn, and Pluto in Capricorn, there is a huge emphasis on money, resources, business, order, law, and people in authority. The Cancer Moon mirrors back the need for love, family, nurturing, food, and security. In 2018 it will be abundantly clear that those in powerful positions need to get into alignment with the true needs of the people. In our own lives, we must find the balance between our outer world responsibilities and our true personal needs. The Cancer Moon aligns in a Grand Trine with Mars in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces, helping to elevate the importance of love, compassion, and healing.

Uranus, the planet of change, switches gears and goes direct on January 2, 2018. This gives us a boost of energy to move ahead. Uranus will be a key figure in the 2018 landscape, as it begins to move from fiery Aries into Earthy Taurus in May. This is big news, as Uranus spends about 7 years in one sign. Early Taurus natives may have a real shift of consciousness. We can expect major changes with both the economy and Mother Earth as this year unfolds. The Uranus cycle that began in 2011 will be coming to a close. Look at important lessons that you’ve learned since then, and do some releasing. Retrieve important goals that haven’t materialized yet, and find ways to get things moving. It’s time for a new cycle.

There’s a Total Lunar Eclipse on the Full Moon in Leo on January 31, 2018, at 5:26 am PST. This is also a rare “Blue Moon” where 2 full moons occur in the same month. The Sun in Aquarius will be close to Venus, the planet of love and abundance, in opposition to the Full Moon Eclipse. This energy opens a doorway to cosmic intelligence, healing, love, and unity. It’s also a chance to put our individual creative energy in sync with the Collective Mind. If there is something you believe in passionately, find a way to commit to it in real terms. One way to do this would be joining a group that represents a cause you truly believe in. On a more personal level, this vibration could help us to put aside differences with loved ones, while still maintaining our individuality. Fateful occurrences often correspond around eclipses, so pay attention to key events on the world stage, and in your own life. This applies even more if you are an Aquarius or Leo.

Opportunity Days: January 1, 9, 13, 16, 20, 21, 27, 30, and 31
