Keeping faith and resilience in the face of adversity

Keeping faith and resilience in the face of adversity

“Do not let those things which may not be understood in the present weary your soul, but know that sometime, somewhere, you, too, will understand. Keep the faith.” – Edgar Cayce

In today’s world, where hate crimes, discrimination, and exclusion still exist, it’s easy to become disheartened and weary. However, Cayce’s words remind us to keep faith, even when we don’t understand everything in the present.

As LGBTQ individuals, we’ve faced numerous challenges throughout history, including being denied basic human rights, being shunned by our families and communities, and living in fear of persecution. Despite these challenges, we’ve continued to fight for equality and acceptance, and we’ve made significant progress.

We may not always understand why things happen the way they do, but we can take comfort in knowing that someday, somewhere, we’ll understand. We can continue to hold onto our faith and hope for a better future.

In the meantime, let’s remember to support and uplift one another, stand in solidarity against hate and discrimination, and keep the faith that someday, we’ll live in a world where love and acceptance reign supreme.
