Lili Lakich 8-Week Workshop – Create your own neon art

Discover the mesmerizing magic of neon at the 8-week Neon Workshop, beginning Tuesday, April 4, 2023, from 6:30-9:30 pm. This hands-on, step-by-step workshop is taught by leading artist and designer Lili Lakich, founder of the Museum of Neon Art, in her 5,000 sq. ft. studio in downtown Los Angeles.

In just eight weeks, you’ll learn to create your own neon sculpture or sign, from translating your ideas into a design to creating over 250 colors with noble gases like neon and krypton. You’ll also learn to make full-size tube patterns, fabricate structures, and install transformers and animators, all while focusing on good design and safety.

After the final class, invite your family and friends to a party and exhibition of finished neon projects. The course fee is $695 plus a $25 materials fee, with material costs averaging $150-$300. No prior experience is required, and gift certificates are available.

For students who have taken the 8-week workshop, an advanced class is available. This four-session workshop begins on April 8th, Saturdays from 10:30-1:30. You’ll continue to hone your skills and explore new techniques, taking your neon art to the next level.

Don’t miss this opportunity to discover the rich history and vibrant potential of neon with Lili Lakich, a renowned artist and educator. Private lessons are also available by appointment. Call the studio at (213) 620-8641 to reserve your place or to learn more.
