May Sun Sign Profile: Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Here are some mean things people say about Taurus: they are boring, greedy, and materialistic. They are lazy, self-indulgent hedonists. They are one-track minded and not intellectually or sexually curious. Now that we got that out of the way, we can talk about what Taurus is REALLY all about. They are what I call “support system” people. Grounded, steadfast, loyal and loving; you can rely on them. In work they are diligent and focused. They like to finish their projects. In the bedroom they are sensual and in touch with their bodies, and yours!
Like fellow Earth Signs Virgo and Capricorn, they can be all business, and good with money. But Taurus is ruled by Venus, the planet of love and beauty. The artsy ones make great singers, as Taurus rules the throat. As dancers, they can be both graceful and physically powerful. And as visual artists they often have a great knack for working with both color and form. They don’t just think about things, they DO things. When moody they tend to get lethargic. And yes, they can be stubborn. Getting them to let go of things can be tough. They are not good at knowing when to quit.
In Love, Taurus can enjoy the dependability and physicality of fellow Earth Signs Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo. Venus ruled Libra is sometimes a good match, although other Air Signs Gemini and Aquarius can be too heady and detached for the bull. Scorpio can make them sizzle with passion, if control issues don’t ensue. Water Signs Cancer and Pisces match well with Taurus, bringing out their emotional side. Fire Signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius often don’t appreciate the strong, loving, dependable bull, which will really piss Taurus off!

For all the Sun Signs: This could be a fateful month for some, as there is a Solar Eclipse in Taurus on May 9th and a Lunar Eclipse in Sagittarius on the 24th. Eclipses definitely set the wheels of fortune spinning and issues that need to come to the surface frequently do. Saturn in Scorpio opposing Taurus planets early in the month creates a few road blocks, but things improve after May 6. May 21, 25, 26, and 27 are astrological opportunity days, so use this info to time important decisions and activities.
Aries (March 21-April 19) You want to get things moving, but your finances may not support all the things you’d like to do this month. Don’t be frustrated, just bring things into balance and be a bit more conservative with spending. Things will be blasting ahead soon enough, and you’ll be glad you have some extra cash for new projects in June.
Taurus (April 20-May 20) A planetary line up in Taurus linking to Pluto in Capricorn early in the month could give you great strength and determination to work on projects, career, and home. The one hitch is Saturn in Scorpio, which will not prevent you from moving mountains this month, but may put a few extra ones in your way! Reserve your energy for top priorities only.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) Jupiter in Gemini makes you feel lucky and your ability to manifest is running high. Best figure out what you really want. But your inner guidance system is a little off right now and you could make a few wrong turns if you are hasty with important decisions. Be careful.
Cancer (June 21-July 21) Your connections to friends and colleagues is highlighted this month, but fraught with a few difficult moments. Be the diplomat and try the iron fist in the velvet glove routine if people around you start getting unruly. Some frustration will arise, but much could be accomplished anyway.
Leo (July 23-August 22) Your ambitions are noble, your determination is strong. But sometimes you just can’t push the river. Be authoritative at work, but temper it with patience and concern for those around you. A soft and philosophical approach will get your further with people at this time. Success will come, but slowly.
Virgo (August 23-September 22) This could be a profitable and productive time for you. There are lots of motivating factors pushing you forward. You can make major headway solving old problems now, so get cracking. Perhaps you’ll even take a bit of time off for travel or personal pursuits. Pay particular attention to legal issues, if they should arise, as you may need to take action.
Libra (September 23-October 22) Jupiter in Gemini is inspiring you to try new things now, but you may have to delay some of your plans until money matters are straightened out. Existing love relationships could deepen. Bad ones could end. And single Libras could attract a sexy new partner.
Scorpio (October 23-November 21) There is plenty of action in the relationship sector this month, both on business and personal levels. Open up in the spirit of compromise and you’ll see just how much people really want to work with you. But if you appear uptight or controlling, you’ll see a few doors slam right in your face, so don’t do that J
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) Don’t avoid health issues that might be presenting at this time. You can’t burn the candle at both ends forever. Go get a physical tune-up. You may need a doctor, or perhaps just a good spa day or two.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19) There is serious creative energy flying around you now. Grab on to it and start getting more of what you want out of life. Worthy goals and projects are within reach. And the love bug might be buzzing around, to, so single Capricorns, take note. This could be exciting!
Aquarius (January 20-February 18) Put some thought into bringing more balance into your home environment. Maybe a Feng Shui consultation is in order. Take steps to bring more harmony into your personal life, too. Single Aquarians, this could be a good month to meet someone new, so don’t forget to socialize.
Pisces (February 19-March 20) Good vibes in the communication department could help you get more people on your side now. Share your thoughts with people you trust and good things will start to happen, particularly regarding work. Pisces looking for a change of residence may be exceptionally lucky this month.
