Pasadena Playhouse’s Producing Artistic Director, Danny Feldman, has announced that due to popular demand, a third performance of Bernadette Peters in Concert will be presented at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on June 9-11, 2023. This concert will be the culmination of the six-month-long celebration of the works and impact of Stephen Sondheim, the first major festival honoring his legacy since his passing in 2021.

Single tickets for the event will go on sale on March 31 at 12:00 PM PST through ticketmaster.com. This concert offers the chance to experience an unforgettable evening of song from Broadway’s brightest star, Bernadette Peters. The audience can expect to hear songs from the Broadway shows she has received accolades for, as well as from her Grammy Award-winning and nominated albums.

Throughout her illustrious career, Bernadette Peters has dazzled audiences and critics with her performances on stage, in film, and television, in concert, and on recordings. She has won numerous accolades, including three Tony Awards, a Golden Globe, three Emmy and four Grammy Award nominations, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Best known for her work on stage, Bernadette Peters is one of Broadway’s most critically acclaimed performers. Her recent Broadway performances include starring as Dolly Gallagher Levi in Hello, Dolly!, A Bed and a Chair: A New York Love Affair featuring the music of Stephen Sondheim with orchestrations by Wynton Marsalis, and in Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music and Follies.

Peters has also made a name for herself on television, guest-starring in various shows such as Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, Katy Keene, The Good Fight, Mozart in the Jungle, Smash, Grey’s Anatomy, and Ugly Betty. She has also appeared in over 30 films, including Pennies From Heaven, The Jerk, Annie, and Pink Cadillac.

In addition to her performances, Peters devotes her time and talents to numerous events that benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. She co-founded Broadway Barks with Mary Tyler Moore, which is an annual, star-studded dog and cat adoption event that benefits shelter animals in the New York City area. Peters is also a New York Times best-selling author who has penned three children’s books: Broadway Barks, Stella is a Star, and Stella and Charlie: Friends Forever. All of her proceeds from the sale of these books benefit Broadway Barks.
