November Sun Sign Profile: Sagittarius (November 22-December 21)

 

There’s never a dull moment with lively, lucky Sagittarius in the house. Their enthusiasm for life is infectious. They are Big Picture thinkers with strong convictions. Evolved Sagittarians are crusaders for truth and justice, never tiring of spreading the word about a heartfelt cause. “Give me liberty or give me death!” is definitely a bumper-sticker a Sag would have. Occasionally their intensity pushes them into recklessness. You’d think these high-minded folk would have the gift of forethought. Fact is, maybe they do; they just do what they want anyway! You’ve got to love that kind of spunk, but it can be crazy-making to more conservative signs like Cancer, Capricorn, Taurus, or Virgo.

 

They are never at a loss when it comes to having an opinion. This makes them inspirational speakers and teachers. Whether it’s a sport, the courtroom, or a “friendly” debate, they play to win.  They are not afraid to think out loud. This can be refreshing, unless they are hauling off and saying something completely off color, which is something they are known for. They speak with certitude, whether they’ve got their facts straight or not.  Astrologers often giggle about Sagittarian “foot in mouth” disease. Their infamous lack of tact can be hurtful to more sensitive types. As they mature, they usually become much more responsible and less verbally inflammatory.

 

Sexy Sag can be quite loyal, but usually love to play the field until they grow up.  When they do fall in love they fall hard. They’ll stick with you as long as you don’t bore them or try to take away their freedom. Want to make a Sagittarius happy? Take them on a trip. It’s possible they invented the word “vacation.” Want to meet a Sag? Try the dog park or the soccer field. They love animals, sports, and the outdoors.

 

Sagittarius gets along well with fellow Fire Signs Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius as long as competition doesn’t become a deal breaker. Air Signs Gemini and Aquarius will find flamboyant Sagittarius exciting, but Libra may want more commitment. Sensitive signs Cancer and Pisces might be blown out of the water by Sag’s gregarious ways, but Scorpio might be up for the challenge. Earth Signs Taurus and Virgo may not appreciate their frenetic energy, but sturdy Capricorns, who often have planets in Sagittarius, might be a good match.

For all the Sun Signs: Mercury is direct now and things are moving forward, but that won’t stop some people from freaking out about the End of the World. On December 21, Winter Solstice, our solar system will line up with the dark center of the Milky Way. Some feel this is the beginning of the “end times,” but I rather doubt it. This is, however, the ending of a very long cycle called “The Great Year,” which lasts approximately 26,000 years. Interestingly, about 26,000 years ago, there was a “supereruption” of a volcano in New Zealand that did change the earth and its climate in a major way. There was another one about 25,000 years before that. Right now, science sees no indication of this, and neither do I. And if I’m wrong, will it really matter?

 

Aries (March 21-April 19) You should be feeling a surge of energy now. Let the past go and embrace optimism. Don’t just sit there! This is a great time try new things or travel to somewhere you’ve never been, figuratively or literally.

 

Taurus (April 20-May 20) You might be feeling a bit serious about relationships, both business and personal. Your motto should be: who’s got my back. You are a great support to others. This does not mean you should not expect more from those around you. Lighten your load.

 

Gemini (May 21-June 20 )  There could be very big changes coming in the love department. Single Geminis might just get swept off their feet at a Christmas Party. Committed relationships might prove surprising. Even business partnerships are in flux. Hold on to your hat and enjoy the unexpected.

 

Cancer (June 21-July 21) Your creative energy is high, but you might need some downtime in your daily routine. Keep busy and get some things accomplished, but plan to chill with loved ones, too. Relationship energy could prove a little touchy. Keep the peace, but don’t be a push-over.

 

Leo (July 23-August 22) You are ready for center stage this Holiday Season and there will be lots of fun to be had. But pressures in your personal life may have thrown a bit of a wet blanket on things lately. Enjoy yourself, but spend some time figuring out how to remove some obstacles from your path. They won’t go away on their own.

 

Virgo (August 23-September 22)  You want peace in your home and with those you love. To a large degree, you will have it. But you could be in a somewhat serious mood. Certain relationships are causing confusion. Remember, actions speak louder than words.

 

Libra (September 23-October 22) This could be a very exciting month for you if you are ready for something new. Single Libras might hook up with someone fascinating, if you are open to it. You have lots of ideas. Put some of them into play, but be mindful of your bank account.

 

Scorpio (October 23-Novemeber 21) Most of the planetary influences are quite favorable for you now, including better vibes in the money department. But Saturn in Scorpio could be making you a little pessimistic at times. Focus on work, goals, and priorities.

 

Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) Relationship energy is enhanced, both personal and business. You may be going through a reorganization of your finances. The emphasis is on progress and you are in a unique position to move forward. Go for it!

 

Capricorn (December 22-January 19) Mars in your sign will make you want to kick ass and take names. This could be a boon to business and personal goals. But you need to take care of your health, too. The doctor and the gym are your friends.

 

Aquarius (January 20-February 18) There’s lots of activity in friendships, romance, and business. This is a great month to socialize and network. There could be a little confusion over some financial matters. Be very clear before making important decisions.

 

Pisces (February 19-March 20) Try to get in tune with your Big Picture goals. Your intuition is working well, but you still might feel a little frustrated about key decisions. Have faith. Moving ahead is the thing to do.
