The Sun is in emotional, creative Pisces now. Winter is ending, and Spring is on the way. Since 2014 is another “roller-coaster” of a year, it probably won’t surprise you when I say this will be a very eventful month. So, fasten your seat belts and get ready for the ride!
Mercury has been retrograde and in a pretty grumpy mood for a solid month, messing up our plans, our technology, and our connections with others. But March starts off with Mercury direct! Now we can get ready to launch some new projects and step away from any tangles that happened during February. But tread cautiously, as there is a ton of energy that is flying every which way during the first week of March. Reserve plans for anything really big until after the Quarter Moon on the 8th.
So, what’s the big deal? Well, right after Mercury goes direct, Mars and Saturn go retrograde in close proximity to the New Moon in Pisces on March 1. Mars will be in Libra, giving us a chance to review many important lessons about our relationships over the next 9 weeks or so. Saturn in Scorpio turns retrograde, bringing another kind of review for many of us, regarding things we have been building and rebuilding over the last 2 years. There is an intensity factor here that will affect many people very strongly. If you are open to the lessons that will be unfolding, this could be a time of powerful insights and epiphanies. If you try to ignore important challenges that arise, you may get kicked in the fanny.
When the Full Moon in Virgo arrives on Sunday March 16, things will be much clearer. This Full Moon looks like a good one for healing, creativity, and romance. Spring Equinox follows just a few days later on March 20. The Equinox is always a great time for renewal and inspiration. Plan to use this cool energy to drop outworn patterns and blocks and start on your path with renewed enthusiasm. For those who are ready for a relationship, this is a good time to put that intention out to the Universe! Same goes if you need to attract helpful partnership in business.
For all the Sun Signs: Keep your eyes wide open during the first week of March, with Mercury direct, Mars Retrograde, Saturn Retrograde and the New Moon in Pisces converging. Astro-Opportunity Days: March 8, 13, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 28 29. Everyone will have a bit of an edge and a touch of luck on these days, so take advantage of it!
Aries (March 21-April 19) With your ruler Mars going retrograde this month, and the Sun in your Solar 12th House, it would be wise to cool your jets a bit and do some self-nurturing. Instead of blazing ahead, try diving into your center. A need for balance and harmony is high. And your intuition will serve you well if you get quiet enough to hear it, and heed the messages that come through. Body, Mind, Spirit alignment is in order.
Taurus (April 20-May20) Connect with important friends and colleagues. Some of them may be willing to lend support that you need. But be selective about who you open up to. Saturn retrograde in Scorpio will start to bring up unsolved issues from the past. Don’t hide your head in the sand. Time to get into problem solving mode!
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) You will be taking a serious look at your life direction and career. And you’ll need to ask yourself how all of this fits in with your relationship goals…or does it? Time to make sense of your outer world and inner world needs.
Cancer (June 21 to July 21) If you have been putting things in their proper place in your life, you should be seeing some amazing developments now. If you need to work harder towards goals, go for it. Take advantage of the inspiration and energy that is available and move some mountains.
Leo (July 23-August 22) Roll up your sleeves and tackle some of those things you’ve needed to take care of in your home. And if you feel at odds with emotional issues from the past, take some steps to process them, so you can move forward. Endings are as important as beginnings in many ways.
Virgo (August 23-September 22) There’s action in the romance and partnership department now, but much of what happens will depend on your own clarity and ability to determine fact from fiction. Use your knowledge of human nature when deciding who to connect with, both personally and in business. Opportunities abound, but caution is advised.
Libra (September 23-October 22) There is much potential to heal and restore your body at this time, and perhaps a need to do so! Libra, balance thyself! There will be very important lessons and messages regarding your significant relationships. Pay attention and read the memo!
Scorpio (October 23 to November 21) Work with your creativity and much will come of it now. Fight the impulse to retreat into your own world, as much can be accomplished now. Saturn retrograde in your sign will let you know if there are responsibilities that need attention. Best to attend to them voluntarily.
Sagittarius (November 22-December 21) Powerful motivations are stirring inside you regarding home, family, and the past. This is a time to reflect and connect to your priorities. Put things in place to give yourself more freedom in the coming months.
Capricorn (December 22-January 19) You are learning about your connections to others. Don’t hide from it. Take a good look around you. There are new people who would like to get to know you, both socially and professionally. Go find them!
Aquarius (January 20-February 18) Money and career are highlighted now. Clear your head and get your game on. Positive financial dealings are in the offing. Improvement and opportunity in the work place is likely.
Pisces (February 19-March 20) This could be a magical month! Romantic, creative, and spiritual energy surrounds you. This is your chance to heal old wounds and get back in the saddle! Get inspired and put your best foot forward. The dawn is breaking. Get ready to move forward.
