March begins on a spiritual note, with the Sun in Pisces lining up with magical, mystical, mysterious Neptune. This is good energy for all those interested in helping, healing, and creating. It is a strange vibration however, and may prompt some people towards deception, so don’t believe everything you hear! And if something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Venus, the planet of love, beauty, and money, is about to have a big cosmic hissy fit as she goes retrograde in Aries on March 4, 2017. This is quite significant, as Venus only goes retrograde every year and a half or so, less frequently than all the other planets. And Aries is not exactly the easiest sign for Venus. This is a big “heads up” if you are planning a wedding or engagement, as it truly would be best to wait until after Venus goes direct on April 14, 2017. It would also be wise to be cautious and conservative with any big financial decisions during this period. One Venus retrograde plus: it’s a good time to get closure about any old flames that may be haunting your heart. And if any ex’s show up in March looking to be recycled, it’s much more likely a review session so you can move on! Venus retrograde could also make many people feel a bit more down or disappointed. If you feel yourself wanting to sing the blues, perhaps getting some counseling support would be valuable now. You might really get to The heart of some core issues.

Retrograde Jupiter in Libra is in close opposition with Uranus in Aries the first week of March, drawing attention to legal issues and changing societal patterns. This transit could wake up your inner rebel, but you may have to wait until June when Jupiter goes direct to get the revolution going full tilt.

There’s a Full Moon in Virgo on Sunday, March 12, 2017. It brings an opportunity for body, mind, and spirit to come into alignment. Use the magic of this Full Moon to tune in to your physical being and address any habits you might want to change. Meditation or spiritual practices aimed at healing and positive visualization will be very potent during this moon, so take advantage of it. It is also a nice vibration for connecting to nature and animals.

Spring Equinox arrives on March 20, 2017, as the Sun goes into Aries. Spring is a time when renewal and growth is busting forth, and with a planetary emphasis on Fire Signs, excitement and change is in the air. Innovation and new technology will be popping up everywhere. The fiery character of the 2017 Vernal Equinox indicates a continued “hot and heavy” political atmosphere, so be prepared.

The month ends on a high note, with a New Moon in Aries on March 27. This will usher in a few days where you can really get some things done before Mercury goes retrograde in April.
