November Femastrology 2020
by Astrologer and Psychic, Victoria Bearden
November is another major turning point for fateful 2020. Mercury and Mars both go direct, which is definitely a good thing. And there’s an important Lunar Eclipse right at the end of the month. Planetary changes are occurring that will help us find solutions to the heavy burdens and lessons Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn have dished out. It’s going to be a roller coaster ride, but you probably already knew that.
On October 31, 2020, at 7:49 am PDT we will have our second Full Moon of the month at 08° Taurus. Even though this is my November newsletter, this Full Moon at the end of October is worth mentioning again. It’s special. The moon will be conjunct Uranus, the planet of change and revolution. That is most definitely noteworthy. Important situations could change very suddenly in the days immediately following the Full Moon. This is an opportunity to make major breakthroughs. If you want to write down your intentions, pray, have a ritual, or put any kind of focused energy out there towards a worthwhile aim, now’s the time. This astrological window of opportunity will extend into the first week of November.
The Trials and Tribulations of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn. Astrologers and intuitive folks saw the 2020 scenario coming a long time ago. A “civilizational change” is what I called it on Youtube in 2019. But predicting this kind of breakdown and transformation, and living it, are two different things. Many prognosticators knew this time would be characterized by loss, crisis, and restrictions. We knew that authoritarian forces would be on the rise, and they would be making a gigantic bid for power, internationally. There would be rebellion, too, as people would fight for their freedom. We knew that our physical reality would be in turmoil. That includes our food, our health, our shelter, our money, and our resources. The increasing threat of climate change had been foretold many times by famous astrologers like Robert Hand, years ago! But mostly, we mystics are preaching to the choir. Humans usually don’t change unless we are forced to. And right now, even though we are being forced, we tend to resist. But we can embrace change. And create it. And it is not too late. Change is here. And as a wise person once said, if you can’t beat it, join it. PS, for my readers in the US, please vote!
I want you all to know the tough times we are going through now will not go on indefinitely. The big wallop of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn is almost over. Those two bad asses are having their last hoorah. Jupiter and Saturn will move away from Pluto, and on into Aquarius, and we will, too. But it’s not going to happen overnight. And it’s not going to be pretty on the way out. When change of this magnitude arises, the ramifications will reverberate for years. And leaping into the unknown can be scary and dangerous. But our future is right across that threshold, and we must be brave and forge ahead. Even if things are messy and difficult, we have every reason to be hopeful. It is my personal wish that the negative build up over the past few years has finally provided the catalyst for the kind of wake-up call we really need. Only our apathy, and possibly our stupidity, will get in the way. But not for long.
The Aquarian Factor. Astrologically speaking, every day really is a new day. There are always unique planetary and spiritual influences coming into being. Right now, cosmic energies are converging that will spark major leaps in our collective consciousness. One such event takes place on December 21, 2020, on Winter Solstice. On that day, Jupiter and Saturn align in Aquarius. The Great Conjunction. We humans have been struggling like mad for a long time with “The Aquarian Age.” People are afraid of changing their old, familiar beliefs. So why are Aquarian ideals scary for some people? Because they are associated with radical change. Although astrologers disagree about when it started, many of us feel the 20th Century is a good guess. Traditionally, Aquarius is associated with electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, equality, idealism, modernization, astrology, nervous disorders, rebellion, nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, and humanity. But many have been afraid that the Aquarian Age signified a New World Order that was negative. Science was going to throw Faith out the window, like the baby with the bathwater. Most of us “New Age” types never felt that way. We realized that this period of human history was about our spiritual, physical, and emotional evolution, in the best of all ways. This will, of course, require that people put aside their differences and find common ground. And sometimes, crisis is the only thing that makes us do that.
The Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn at 00°Aquarius. This unique event on December 21, 2020 could very well be the portal to the next level of the Aquarian Age. This means major breakthroughs, and major breakdowns. It’s likely that one of the breakthroughs will have to do with the pandemic. Fingers crossed. Other major developments will undoubtedly impact our cyber world. Societal norms will continue to be challenged. Old patterns must be dismantled, altered, and in some cases, abandoned. New formulas for living must be developed and tested, sometimes on the fly. We are going to have to fake it until we make it. But we have reached the proverbial point of no return. We simply cannot continue to live on this planet the way we have been if we want to thrive, survive, and coexist; with each other, and with Mother Earth. So, here we go! We still have a long way to go, but it’s nice to know were getting a cosmic push in the right direction.
On a personal note, it is my hope that more and more people will begin to see that Aquarian values don’t have to obliterate their own. Science does not have to take away spiritual beliefs. Progressive ideas don’t have to destroy positive traditions. We humans will never think alike. But that doesn’t mean we can’t agree on some basic truths. In the meantime, let’s hope we get a clue about the important things that will allow us to live better, and fix what we’ve messed up. The future might seem uncertain, but the bridge to the past is burning behind us. It’s time for something different, and better.
Mercury Direct on November 3, 2020, Election Day in the US. Yup, it’s going to be a wild ride on Election Day in the US. But unlike the Bush/Gore Election Day, when Mercury turned retrograde, this time it’s turning direct. So, it would stand to reason that it’s going to be messy and controversial, but will push things in a new direction. This is a difficult election to predict. In the past years, I’ve never been incorrect about a US Presidential Election, and I’ve been predicting them in public since Bush Senior. But in 2016, after waffling like mad, I incorrectly predicted Clinton. I always predict based solely on astrology, not my personal opinion. And my predictions represent the most likely outcome, as the future is not set in stone. Last year, I predicted Biden would be the Dem candidate, at a time when he was looking like a complete longshot. And in my last newsletter, I predicted Biden would win the presidency. I’m sticking with my story, because I have to. But I will say this. Trump’s chart is very unusual, and lucky, as you might imagine. And even though he’s had some of the worse astrological transits ever this past year, he’s still standing. On Election Day, although about 75% of his astrology looks super tough, there’s about 25% that is a true wild card. So, expect the unexpected.
Mars Direct on November 13, 2020. This will help get things moving in the right direction with our projects and goals. It will take a little while to kick in, but it represents forward momentum and will help diminish negativity. This is a green light to start on a new path. It will be a potentially volatile day, so be cautious. Not the greatest day to take up skydiving. It also happens to be Friday the 13th.
There’s a New Moon at 23° Scorpio, November 14, 2020 at 9:07 p.m. PST. New Moons allow us to hit the reset button. This particular dark moon is fairly reserved, but is highly significant because of its proximity to Mars changing direction. Another “turning point” in important events.
The Sun Enters Sagittarius on November 21, 2020. Fire Sign Sagittarius will fuel inspiration and optimism. The sign of the centaur symbolizes enthusiasm, adventure, and expansion. It is related to both law, religion, foreign relations, and travel. The pitfall of Sagittarius is over-confidence and zealotry.
Full Moon/ Lunar Eclipse at 08° Gemini on November 30, 2020 at 1:29 a.m. PST. Eclipses always mark periods when significant and important events unfold. This particular eclipse lines up exactly with the USA’s Uranus in Gemini. This represents a huge shift of energy towards progress. There is also some conflict associated with it, as it represents people being at odds with one another. If you are a Sagittarius with a birthday near this date, know you are going to have a year full of great and significant change.
Opportunity Days: November 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 14, 15, and 23
